Malaysia Hindhu Dharma Maamandram – the Voice of Malaysian Hindus ----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Are we worried about social ills and cultural breakdown in our community? Lack of religious knowledge and challenges in bringing up children? What is the remedy? Is there a solution? We at Malaysia Hindhu Dharma Maamadram have solutions and we are ready to serve you through our 4 major programmes. 1. Dharma Youth Training Camps Join our youth training programme and become a role model for young generation. We tailor the programme to meet the interest of our youth. There will be lecture, workshops, games, yoga,group discussions and many interesting programmes .We are committed in arresting social problems faced by our young teens. We can’t blame them for ignorant and lack of discipline because good mannerism is best taught through teachings of values touching on our rich HINDU culture, values, history and heritage. We invite 100 youth into 1 programme session for 3 days 4 nights. The stay in programme is FREE of charge. We provide food, accommodation and tutorial materials. Remember YOUTH ARE NOT USELESS BUT USED LESS So parents ,play your role , we are ready to serve you, send your young teens to our programme. Our 1st Camp of the year will be held in Banting , Selangor targeting youth (males) from Selangor ., starting from 14th March till 17th March 2015. Our 2nd Camp will be frpm 19th March till 22nd March 2015 targeting youth (males) from Kuala Lumpur.

2. Dharma Women Empowerment Seminars Women play important role in imparting values to children. Women determine the proper bringing up and behaviour of children and ensure happy and peace in family. The 2-Day stay in seminar targeting 50 participants for each session will target major cities or towns where Hindus are large in numbers. We would like to share knowledge with participants on Fundamental values of Hinduism , role of Hindu women in ensuring happy family , career development , healthy lifestyle, guidelines on home pooja,workshops ,group discussions and counselling .

1st seminar will be held on 7th March till 8th March 2015 at Cyberjaya. Lodging and vegetarian food will be provided . There is no charges , the seminar is FREE. Likewise please see attached schedule of our seminars nationwide. We are determine to impart the teachings of Hindu Dharma to our women in order to see a better and well managed families – spiritually and socially. 3. NATIONAL HINDHUDHARMA BASIC COURSE (Session 2015-2018) Malaysia Hindudharma Maamandram’s National Hindhudharma Basic Course is focused on the creation of a group of self respecting youngsters. This will be achieved by the creation of a set of highly focused & relevant syllabus consistent with our local Malaysian conditions suited for students between10 to 13 years of age.

The core objective of these courses are to create a group of youngsters who appreciates the values of sound education, cultivates broad mindsets, understands the importance of economic self reliance, acknowledges that the welfare of the country, community and self are interrelated.

Malaysia Hindhudharma Mamandram is organizing a National Hindhudharma Basic Course (Session 2015-2018/Level-1) at northern regional councils Vishnu / Ahthitan Kottam (Penang, Kedah, Perlis and Perak). This course will be held at SJK(T) Jalan Sungai, Jalan Sungai, 10150 George Town, Pulau Pinang between 14th to 16th March 2015. Hindu students aged between 10 to 13 years old from Penang, Butterwoth, Bukit Mertajam, Bukit tengah, Nibong Tebal, Bagan Serai, Parit Buntar, Taiping, Kuala Kangsar, Chemor, Sungai Siput, Sungai Petani, Bidong , Gurun, Jitra, Alor Star, Kulim, Kuala Ketil and the surrounding areas are invited to attend this exclusively arranged course.

Similarly, in the south regional council Kanta Kottam ( Johor ) National Hindhudharma Basic Course (Session 2015-2018/Level-1), will be held at SJK(T) Sri Pelangi, Batu Pahat, Johor between 14th to 16th March 2015. Mr. R.Subramaniam, National Coordinator of National Hindhudharma Basic Course Program has informed that Hindu students from Muar, Tangkak, Segamat, Labis, Cha’ah, Yong Peng, Kluang, Renggam, Simpang Renggam and Pontian are invited to attend the course.

Simple prayer methods suitable for students of particular age group, Yoga training, Games based on Hinduism and Indian traditional games will be taught during the entire duration of the course.Those who are interested please register as soon as possible ( last date 09.03.2015 ) as only limited seats are available.

4. HINDU DHARMA RELIGIOUS EDUCATION

The Hindu Dharma Education Programme aims to disseminate free comprehensive and organised religious knowledge to Hindu children, beginning with pupils in the Tamil Schools (SJKTs) in Malaysia.Malaysia Hindhudharma Maamandram views Religious Education as of paramount importance as it prepares our children for the challenges of the ever evolving world and can inspire them to live with responsibility, perseverance and integrity in our society. Children with sound religious and moral education will be a backbone to our society and Nation. The Hindu Dharma Basic Textbooks Programme is from Level 1 to Level 9. Level 1, 2 and 3 are available and currently books level 4, 5 and 6 are in preparation.

The textbooks and workbooks Level 1, 2 and 3 were designed and printed in 2012. 20,000 copies of textbooks and 16,000 copies of workbooks each of levels I, II and III were first published. An efficient distribution system was initiated and the books were distributed to all SJK(T)s in 2013 and 2014.
